The Roman ruins of Centum Cellas located in Colmeal da Torre (Belmonte) is a National Monument and is one of the mostemblematic and enigmatic of the Region, partly due to its function not been yet identified. The monument has been escavated s ince1974 until now. The preservation work and restauration, to which we ha ve applied to an International Work Camp has with majorgoal to promote the preservation and restauration of the Tower, and as well the surrounding buildings, promoting their futurepreservation.This work camp will promote, as well, the rebuilding of some walls, leading to a better view of the archeologic structures.
The camp is placed in a rural area, very close to the Belmonte village and the cities of CovilhEpound and Guarda, the population of Belmonte is 3000 inhabitants.
The accomodation will be provided in an local housing or similar, equipped with bathroom, and daily meals will be provided withmediterranian food, and diet f ood will be also available. Internet available

This camp will have an educational and participatory approach and young people will be welcomed by the Dream Dancing association and local partner organizations (CEmara Municipal de Salvaterra de Magos and AssociaEEpoundo Ternura Popular). Youth people will be monitored by two professionals in the area and the main goal is to learn techniques for producing and transforming materials into playful objects, contributing to a more creative and sustainable world. Sustainability and craftsmanship will be the inspiration for this field of work, with recreational and creative materials expected to support the association s activities (board games, sets, puppets, materials for performing traditional games, musical instruments)
Promoting youth mobility and exchange in times where the internet and technologies dominate the world, it is essential to develop a sustainable project through the production of toys and recreational materials that can later contribute to the development of the association s work with children and youth people. Showing the community, the importance of sustainability in the ludic aspect is one of the fundamental goals of the project. What is intended is to raise awareness and involve young people in the production of playful materials and toys that will later be used in activities developed by the association with its children and young people.
Salvaterra de Magos is a Portuguese village belonging to the district of SantarEm, and the former province of Ribatejo, with about 6,200 inhabitants. It is the seat of the municipality of Salvaterra de Magos with an area of 243.93 kmI and 22,159 inhabitants
Food will be prepared by everyone and the accommodation will be at the Celeiro da Vala in Salvaterra de Magos. The food include 17 breakfast, lunches, coffee break, dinners and 17 suppers. This accommodation whose dorms are mixed includes kitchen, bathrooms with showers and wi-fi.

Amarante is a small town in the North of Portugal, part of Porto district (60km far from Porto, to the interior) with 12 thousand inhabitants (in the city center). It is a quite famous city for tourism, culture and wine production. Indeed, is quite near (18km) the Oporto wine region.
Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms (4 participants each) of Casa da Juventude de Amarante (even so participants should bring sleeping bag). Casa da Juventude de Amarante has its own kitchen, WC and showers. In terms of food, our youth centre has a bar\restaurant proposal for the volunteers (breakfast, lunch and dinner) always taking into consideration our aims (healthy food with organic and vegetarian ingredients). Laundry available (self-service). Our youth centre has free wireless.

- Collection and sorting of seeds of native plants. In these activities participants will be able to get to know the region s natural areas.- Cleaning of watercourses, control of invasive species and habitat restoration- In order to ensure the normal hydrological and hydraulic functioning of the watercourses, the participants will proceed to clean, cut and remove the invasive vegetation present in the bed and margins of the temporary watercourses, and support biophysics technics implementation.- Plant Nursery maintenance work. In this activity participants will be involved in daily plant nursery tasks, such as watering, transplanting, soil preparation, etc.- Zero Waste Cleaning Activity in urban areas. In this activity participants will clean urban areas without producing more waste.
This year we intend to work on building a perspective on the issue of water resources management and biodiversity as a solution.1) Raise awareness about the importance of youth mobilization and participation in solving local and global problems;2) Promoting youth participation and involvement in environmental and social issues, in particular in the management of water resources and biodiversity;3) Reflect on the causes and consequences of climate change and ways to act as citizens, particularly in terms of managing water resources and biodiversity;4) Promote reflection on sustainable behaviours, tools that help these behaviours, namely in terms of consumption and their impacts on the management of water resources and biodiversity.
This camp takes place in a rural territory, close to a small city, Montemor-o-Novo in Alentejo region, Portugal.It is located at approximately at a 100 km distance from Lisbon, the Portuguese city capital.
The participants will be accommodated in tents in Rural Tourism / Campism (Burriscas - https://www.facebook.com/burriscas/) which is located 3 km from Montemor-o-Novo.There the participants can cook breakfast and snacks; Lunch and dinner will be cooked by the Montemor-o-Novo school, and delivered to Tourism during the week, on the weekend participants must cook lunch and dinner. Participants are responsible for cleaning the common kitchen.

The main goals of this workcamp are the recovery of rural heritage, enhancing the biodiversity of our Center, and promoting the animal welfare of donkeys and their quality of life. We want to o enable the discovery of the Miranda Plateau, a unique rural region, rich in natural beauty, biodiversity, culture and traditions. With so aging population in these villages, one of the goals is bringing together the young participants and the local community, therefore promoting intercultural (urban/rural, international/national) and intergenerational (youngsters/ elderly) encounters and exchanges
The accommodation is located in Pena Branca village, geographically included in the Natura 2000 network and Douro Internacional Natural Park, about 6 kms from Miranda do Douro city. Located in a rural area in the northeast of Portugal, very close to the border with Spain, its a village that suffers aging population problems, which makes these experiences very important for the rural development of this region.
Basic housing with electricity ( with one large room equipped with bunk beds, one living room, WC, and showers with hot water. There is no bar in the village neither a supermarket, but if something is needed, we can easily support the volunteers to get it. Volunteers who want extra privacy can bring camping tents. Theres good wifi in the proximity of the accommodation, more precisely at the CAB office, which is in the village.
The Workcamp will take place in a rural village included in the Natura 2000 Network with less than 10 inhabitants, and most of them are elderly, so it is important that participants have respectful behaviour towards the community and nature.

The Change - Where it starts project, based on environmental protection and preservation, is a multidisciplinary field of work that will work on the following topics: LEARNING, CLEANING, PLANTING, REDUCING, REUSE, RECYCLE AND AWARENESS. The two main activities are: Cleaning of AlvEpoundos Natural Park and a intergeracional meeting with present gifting made from recycled materials.
The camp will take place in a small village in Vila Real, in a private building. In the village there is contact with the population but at the same time, we will be isolated with due comfort and privacy.
Kind of lodgement: A building in a small village in AlvEpoundos Natural Park, and has 2 rooms: one is bigger, the other one is smaller, 2 bathrooms, showers with hot water in the building, a large meeting room with a small kitchen and a private yard. Its possible to camp as well outside of the building.- Number of meals: 4 (Breakfast, Lunch, break and dinner).

Criarte will have two fundamental components that give rise to 2 paths to the same end:( Restoration ( return the original luster and qualities of the piece of furniture;( Recovery ( recover the furniture, transforming its appearance and structure.( It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and a gown or apron in order to protect it;( They will also be responsible for cleaning and conserving all materials they use. In addition to the collection that the association will do with the community, there is a warehouse in the municipality with various furniture donated by the population and with the collaboration of artisan, youth people will learn to give a new life to these furniture.
Promote mobility and exchange through craft activities related to the Municipality of Salvaterra de Magos that encourage the exchange of experiences and knowledge of the sociocultural and artistic reality of the territory, facilitating the relationship of all young people in the community through non-formal educational activities of marked consistency in interculturality. CreArte has with the objective of establishing contacts, making friends, helping to carry out a project artisan reference and better understand Portuguese Culture and its arts/crafts. It is intended that the project will produce/reuse objects to be sold later and in this way raise funds that can help needy families, through the restoration of furniture.

The workcamp will give opportunity to produce two specific raw earth techniques: CEB (compressed earth blocs) and Adobe. Volunteers will go through the characterization and formulation of earth for producing this materials, and the tasks include preparing, production and drying the materials, going through all stages of the process. The tasks include also interventions of maintenance in some buildings ( Convent and OCT facilities ( using traditional and innovative sustainable building mixed solutions. A suggested program will be proposed and will be subjected to alterations according to the different wills and needs.
This work camp aims to awaken youth for the traditional building techniques and the surrounding built heritage. It is an Hands-on approach in ancient building techniques, specially production of raw earth (adobe, rammed earth, CEB, earth plasters) and ceramics (modelling, raku firing, other firing techniques). During the camp we will act in public structures repairing, maintaining and co-creating new assets on these buildings, focusing on the S. Franciscos Convent and OCT s facilities (workshops where raw and fired earth materials/works are explored and produced). Cooperation, communication, self esteem, problem solving, risk evaluation, leadership and decision making are competences that we will work together while (re)building for and with the local community.
Montemor-o-Novo is located near Evora city in the Centre of Portugal and approximately 100 km far from Lisbon, the capital. The working environment is relaxed, in the heart of a strong artistic influenced small city in Alentejo Region

The lunch and dinner meals will be at the convent and will be vegetarian with possibility of vegan choice, in respect to the protein needs of the body in mainly physical activity. Participants will sleep in Sports Complex of Lousada, in shared rooms with minimalist-style beds. There will be separated rooms for boys and for girls. The place has locker rooms with hot water showers also separated by gender. Participants must bring their own towels and hygiene products.The organization will provide breakfasts, lunches, break snacks, and dinners. Lunches and dinners are prepared/cooked by the municipalitys staff and served at a canteen, but some lunches will be served in the field (sandwiches, fruits, etc.). There will always be a vegetarian option.

RESTORING AND PROTECTING RIVERS - A WAY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT aims to promote environmental education and reflect on the problems of garbage, waste, the cycle of the materials and sustainable growth, through the initiative to strengthen the sustainability of a slope of the Mondego River.
Maceira is a rural portuguese parish in the municipality of Fornos de Algodres, in the province of Beira Alta, in the Center region and sub-region of Serra da Estrela, with an area of 8.06 kmI and 229 inhabitants.
ACCOMODATION: The participants will stay at Hostel EntryFik. The participants will sleep in dormitories divided per gender. In the Hostel, we will have a team that clean the accommodation and cook the meals.MEALS: Meals will be served at the hostel.
