“Patrimoine bâti: agir pour sa préservation de manière réfléchie” (2012-1-FR1-GRU13-35424) – Pays de Thongue, Languedoc Roussillon (South of France) – from 21st to 29th May.
This workshop will provide participants with basic knowledge and competences on masonry techniques and use of local materials. The main goals are to learn several techniques of masonry, to raise awareness on the international dimension of heritage, the protection, the preservation and the notion of common heritage.
We are looking for participants aged 18 + and nationals from any of the 31 eligible countries of the Lifelong Learning Programme: European Union plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Turkey and Croatia.
The group of learners will be composed of 16 participants. A maximum of 3 participants from the same country will be accepted.
All costs are supported by the Grundtvig Program:
• 100% food and lodgment will be covered by the project.
• 100% travel cost anticipated by the participants and refunded at the end of the project upon receipt of the travel. Reimbursements might take up to 8 weeks after the workshop. Reimbursements in cash on the spot are not possible.
• For travel cost exceeding 400€ an authorization to the organization should be required. Please note the price includes the return tickets (flight economic class + 2nd class train + bus).
In order to be reimbursed participants have to give to the workshop trainers all invoices and travel documents.
We are looking for interested participants! If you have volunteers interested in taking part in this workshop, please send the application form (2012 Learner application form) to international@concordia.fr before 22nd February.
We will inform selected participants by 12th March and they have to confirm their attendance the latest by 18th March. Selected participants will receive a signed copy of the application form. In case any potential learner does not confirm by this date, her/his participation will be cancelled and the first person from the waiting list will take her/his place.
