International language camp is organized for teenagers by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALP S) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our new project called MATRIX . Camp participants will learn about different meanings of this word. Together, we will identify the ways how to improve the matrix of the modern world, how to become a better version of ourselves and how to develop our emotional intelligence. Camp participants will acquire life skills that they will need to create their own codes for personal matrices that will have power to change their life for the better. They are the smart matrices of our personalities, souls, love and success, well-being and happy life. Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. Thematic photo and video contests for camp participants will be organized.

Your mission on the international volunteer workcamp: to take care of these two local heritage features. Accompanied by a professional in traditional masonry, you and your team will help the oven to get back to its former glory: cleaning the inside of the building, rebuilding pretty stone benches and re-pointing the walls. You'll soon get the hang of it! As for the spring, you'll be needed for a complete clean-up: emptying the bottom of the basin, cleaning the stones in the washhouse, disbursing and covering with pebbles the small square in front of the washhouse to make it pleasant and accessible to all. In addition to this work, you'll reflect together on sustainable development through the use of traditional techniques in the restoration of the oven and the basin, but also in the daily life of the group. You'll have the opportunity to present the progress you've made to the local population and tourists. It's a chance to meet young people your own age from all over the world, and to take part in a meaningful project!
The small village of Fontanges lies at the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park. In this unspoilt valley, hikers come to explore the trails around Puy Mary, Europe's largest volcano, and to take part in the many events that the village offers in summer: local producers' markets, village balls, concerts, traditional dance demonstrations, bread festival.... The hamlet of Chastrade lies on the plateau above the village; along one of its streets, a traditional bread oven tells the story of a long tradition of festivities, evening gatherings and storytelling by the fireside, and good bread baked over a wood fire for locals and passing walkers. A little further on, the hamlet's spring provides water for hikers and refreshment for cattle.
Fontanges is a peaceful village offering a wide range of outdoor activities. Sweet games are made of… wood! Join us for 2 weeks of creative adventure where you can bring your ideas to life. You'll be making games out of wood and other salvaged materials, to liven up your afternoons and evenings at the site. You'll have the chance to show off the typical games of your homeland and learn those that have kept Occitan culture alive for decades. Do you know cocagne, or quilles? We can't wait to show them off to you at the community fair we're planning during this project. So come along with your ideas and the desire to create media that promote intercultural discovery. By the way, do you know how these games are made? You'll be supervised by our technical supervisor, who will reveal the secrets of carpentry and guide you through every stage of production, right through to decorating and testing the games. In addition to this main project, we'll be harvesting vegetables from our kitchen garden, as well as building plant dryers - invaluable tools that will enable you to learn techniques for processing the products you harvest. Heads or tails? Either way, come to Citrus and you'll come out a winner!
Join the Citrus association's major project and help renovate the future international reception center in Laguépie. For over ten years, international volunteers have been building, renovating, imagining and giving shape to a large-scale project. On the heights of the village of Laguépie, the Citrus association is a place of sharing and encounters, where young people from all over the world come to contribute to the renovation and fitting-out of the international welcome center. Since 2012, the association's buildings have been located in the former hamlet of La Mayounelle: offices, a communal living space and an activity room, all surrounded by fields, a green theater and a vegetable garden. Accompanied by experienced leaders, you'll live at the heart of the association and share daily life with the Citrus team and other volunteers on site.
