Join the volunteer team at Morelia Zoo and be part of the city's most exciting educational experience! Transformed into a vibrant environmental learning center, Morelia Zoo stands as the focal point for raising awareness about environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the preservation of flora and fauna. Every year, the famous nighttime tour is organized, where the Zoo opens its doors to welcome visitors and provide them with the wonderful experience of learning more about the nocturnal activities of the animals. Specially trained instructors at the Zoo conduct recreational activities, and during the tour, themes of mystery are explored through tales, legends, and myths involving animals such as werewolves, black cats, bats, and more. This tour becomes a unique experience, particularly during the traditional Day of the Dead festivities, fostering curiosity, empathy, and love for animal care and our planet. It not only provides entertainment but also facilitates learning in a safe environment filled with vegetation and animals of various species. Children get to learn about the realities of these species while also enjoying and interacting with the mysterious tales surrounding some animal legends. The mission is simple yet crucial: to educate and sensitize the visitors, especially the youth, about the importance of protecting our furry, scaly, and feathered friends, as well as the environment we share with them. To make this thrilling project possible, we need your help. If you're a committed young individual, passionate about biodiversity and nature, with a love for fun and children's activities, join us!
