Number of volunteers:4
As a volunteer, you will teach English for about 20-25 hours each week. Most of your teaching will be in a local primary school, working alongside a local teacher. You'll also get help from different professionals to plan your lessons. There is a total of 4 schools, with 2 in Medellin and 2 in El Carmen de Viboral. Volunteers will be placed in one of these schools to teach.
This project will be carried out in cooperation with a non-profit organization whose volunteer program is an opportunity to support public institutions and rural educational institutions in Medellín and El Carmen de Viboral. With your support in teaching English you can contribute to the foundation's purpose of reducing inequality in Colombia. Help us achieve the national goal of being a bilingual country and train children to be global citizens!
