What was your motivation to join a workcamp?
Volunteering as a youth, met my wife Dorcas on my workcamp and also enjoyed the travelling into new places.
What did you take from that experience?
From the experience we moved to South Africa and formed South Africa Volunteer Work Camp Association in 2012 after and even participated in an SCI Incoming project 2014 and formation of different programmes: SAVWA After School Programme, Orphan Care Support Programme, Home Gardening Programme etc.
What do you still carry with you?
The Volunteering experience and thankful to the International Voluntary Service Movements including SCI International across the globe that has made great impact to our community, the lifestyle and contribution to community development of long lasting relationships with society.
