Participants will participate in a unique experience in the recovery of heritage, in addition to knowing the traditions of the neighbors who have been transmitting them orally for generations. The star element of Rios City Council is the chestnut tree, a forest use that has been the economic base of many families and that still today represents an important part of the family economy in the area. Chestnut trees constitute an economic, landscape and identity resource of Rios. In this work camp, we will focus on the recovery of chestnuts that are in a worse state of conservation; in the divulgation of the importance of the balance between the species and the maintenance of the "foxo do lobo". "Foxo do lobo" is a traditional construction used in the rural area for hunting the wolf or any other animal considered harmful and/or dangerous. Activities: Conditioning and recovery of a chestnut tree. Conditioning of the "foxo do lobo". Intervention on a burnt forest surface. Recovery of historical and ethnographic memory on a lunch day to gather information about the conditions of how the land was worked and working conditions. Other bio-construction activities, shelters for amphibians, birds, etc.
