The young people participating in the project form a heterogeneous group of diverse origins and socio-economic realities, which enriches not only the project participants but also the volunteering process and the proposal for intervention in patron saint festivities in the San Fermín neighborhood. , thus impacting all the neighbors in the neighborhood. Specific objectives: - Offer an alternative for Leisure and Community Participation to young people in vulnerable situations. - Create spaces for meeting and cultural exchange between the participants of the work camp and these with the entities, groups of the south-east area of Madrid - Prepare a program of cultural and leisure activities that complement the San Fermín Neighborhood Festival program.
The San Fermín Project Association, in collaboration with the San Fermín Neighborhood Association and in coordination with Social Services of Usera and entities and services that intervene in the neighborhood, has prepared a report on the situation of 430 homes in the San Fermín neighborhood, more specifically in the Zona de la Perla, an area with extensive socio-economic problems and in which neighborhood conflicts and coexistence problems have been festering in recent years. This report highlights the serious problems arising from very diverse aspects, ranging from behavior as tenants, neighborhood coexistence, the situation of social exclusion, and the fall to the bottom of the stigmatized space itself. It confirms what lack of intervention entails in an area that has brought together a population of excessively diverse origins: such as rehousing of very diverse types, substandard housing, etc.; without having tissue that relates it, nor a socialization process as a habitat; with a multiform ethnic-social origin that continues to increase; with serious deficiencies not only in the family but also in the socialization process and community coexistence. Based on this analysis, the diagnostic report defines an urban space marked by four items: Deterioration - Unemployment - Uprooting - Eviction. From here, a comprehensive intervention plan is proposed that includes 5 fundamental lines of work: Urban intervention. Training and Employment. Socio-educational Intervention. Community intervention and neighborhood mediation Transverse.
The neighborhood is bounded by the Manzanares River to the east, the M-30 and the south junction to the north, Avenida de Andalucía and the Orcasur neighborhood to the west, and the M-40 highway and the super-south junction to the south. In the volunteer camp, not everything is work, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy leisure and free time activities: • Visit to the historic center and other tourist attractions in Madrid, such as the intercultural district of Lavapiés, the Debod Temple, Plaza España, Gran Vía and La Latina. • Visits to the Prado and Reina Sofía museums, and the Royal Palace. • Excursion to Toledo: Sephardic Museum, Toledo Cathedral, Taller de Moro, El Greco Museum.

This camp is divided into two parts: Part 1, Study and knowledge of the legends and tales of the city of Huesca during the Middle Ages and Renaissance. We will make this work by visiting archives, museums, historical buildings in which the events took place. Part 2, Creation, design and implementation of dramatized street theatre plays. Volunteers will write scripts, design props, choose costumes... Everyone will have a role in the play. The play will be held in Spanish, but don’t worry if you don’t know a word, it is no necessary. We will rehearse the show to be presented to the audience. Partici-pants will be accompanied by History and Drama experts during the whole process.
Since 2015 we have verified in "Huesca is Legend" that the combination of volun-teering, performing arts and intangible heritage is an unbeatable starting point for wor-king with young people on concepts such as solidarity, cooperation and integration. After the years that have passed since then, we continue to be unique, an activity diffe-rent from those generally carried out in the Aragonese territory. Its main characteristics make it an exceptional field, since it tries to recover intangible heritage and disseminate it to enhance its value. And all this through the performing arts. Without a doubt a diffe-rent project. ITHEC has been working on youth, free time and performing arts issues for more than twenty years. In all this time we have held workshops for young people, theater and dance festivals. But among all these activities that we have carried out with young peo-ple, the camps that took place between 1995 and 2011 in Albarracín (Teatro en Alba-rracín, IAJ) and the Youth Initiative “La Campana de Huesca” financed by the Youth in Action program in the years stand out. 2012 and 2013. These activities have shown us that the performing arts can be part of young people's leisure, but also their training, in addition to promoting their personal development and even their employability.
Huesca is a small city of 50,000 inhabitants. It is located in the north of Spain, at the foot of the first foothills of the Pyrenees mountain range. A city with more than 2,000 years of history. Iberians, Romans, Muslims, Jews have walked its streets. Its pedestrian center, its medieval monuments, its university spirit, its effervescent cul-tural life and the safety of its streets make it a perfect place to carry out activities with young people. Huesca is also the nerve center of a privileged province: in less than an hour we can find landscapes as different as the desert areas of Los Monegros or the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees.
Accommodation will be held in shared rooms with beds at the Students Residence “Santo Domingo” in Huesca which is in the central district. The residence has common areas and dining room with TV. The residence also offers free WiFi access. Participants may help in the general cleaning of common areas. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be normally served at the residence. The meals are home made by the residence cook. If you have any allergy or food intolerance, please let us know to warn the cook in advance. Some days if we are in a journey or if we have a very tight schedule, we can have a “package lunch” with sand-wich and some fruit. It is possible to request a vegetarian diet in advance
It will be enough to bring comfortable clothing to carry out regular activities (tracksuits, shorts, tights, t-shirts can work), a swimsuit, and sneakers for walking. Health card and Identity Document. For the residence you must bring sheets or a sleeping bag and a towel, the blankets are provided by the accommodation.

The General Directorate of Youth, Participation and Volunteering (www.xuventude.xunta.es) is a department of the Xunta de Galicia (www.xunta.gal) whose priority is to meet the needs and concerns of the young population living in Galicia, firmly believing that youth has much to contribute to society as a whole. We work to improve the quality of life of young people in our autonomous community, developing actions and programs that benefit them, increase their well-being and allow them to improve their skill.
This work camp is located on the Illas Cíes, specifically on the Island of Monteagudo (north) at the mouth of the Ría de Vigo, in the municipality of Vigo (Pontevedra). The Cíes Islands form part, together with the Cortegada, Sálvora and Ons archipelagos, of the Galician Atlantic Islands Maritime-Terrestrial National Park. The ecological value of its marine environment is incalculable since within its waters some of the most representative examples of Atlantic marine ecosystems are preserved, which treasure great biological wealth. The marine environment of the Park is a great mosaic of different habitats that support an extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna. There are important communities such as brown algae forests (Saccorhiza polyschides and Laminaria spp.), or those associated with seabeds such as those of Mäerl, and we also find habitats defined as of community or priority interest within the Habitats Directive of the European Union, such as reefs, lagoons or shallow sandbanks permanently covered with seawater. The terrestrial environment is strongly influenced by the proximity of the ocean, highlighting the dune systems, the cliffs and the gorse or heather thickets. Also in the emerged part of the islands we find habitats considered to be of community interest or priority by the directives, such as the gray dunes, the aerohaline coastal scrub or the southern Atlantic humid heather scrub. The main problem for conservation in this environment has been human pressure. Especially in the Cíes Islands, eucalyptus, pine or acacia plantations have displaced the native vegetation in several areas. The eradication of these native species is a very long-term process that is already being worked on and the results of which will be seen gradually. Actions are currently being carried out to develop adequate management of public use, waste from the islands, navigation and anchoring of boats, fishing, shellfishing, etc. Sport fishing and underwater fishing are prohibited within the limits of the National Park. COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES: • Sport activities. • Diving. • Group dynamics. • Guided routes. • Workshops. • Theme evenings. • Environmental activities.
The volunteers will stay in tents, which have canvas-based bunks for resting. The facility has barracks for dining and showers. There is no washing machine (hand wash).

In this edition the proposal revolves around the elaboration of different non-fiction pieces that reflect the patrimonial, cultural, artistic and literary wealth of the Celanova Council, involving the Celanova people in this project, through the realization of different interviews and collection of testimonies. The different pieces must meet a series of technical requirements (shots, sequences, angles...) as well as geographical ones (filming locations). Together with the audiovisual team, the participants will go through the three stages of audiovisual creation: pre-production, production and subsequent assembly. At the same time, they must take advantage of the technical means (cameras, sound equipment, tripods, computers, drones...) to film small individual pieces that they will present at the final short film festival, thus ensuring active and participatory learning, in which All the participants approach audiovisual knowledge in a practical and playful way. This work camp is located in Celanova (Ourense), 25 kilometers from the capital, very close to the border between Ourense and Portugal. It is a mid-mountain place, with gentle valleys and green hills, bathed by the Arnoia River, which is a tributary of the main river in Galicia, the Miño River. Its architectural heritage is completed with the medieval village of Vilanova dos Infantes, the Mozarabic chapel of San Miguel and the imposing monastery that houses it, the monastery of San Rosendo, one of the most outstanding monastic buildings in Galicia.
